The Interstellar by Pynchon Watches

The Interstellar

(the etymology behind the name)

Interstellar is an adjective that refers to the space between the stars. It comes from a combination of the word ‘inter’ meaning ‘between’ and the Latin word ‘stella’ meaning ‘star’.(1)

“Those who contemplate the beauty of the Earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.” - Rachel Carson

The Earth was once believed to be the centre of the universe. Many people across history, fell in love with our magical Blue Planet and tried to understand its essence. But still, it is a mystery to us. Our timepiece is affected by our Blue Planet, with a bespoke domed earth in its centre.
