(the etymology behind the name)
Interstellar is an adjective that refers to the space between the stars. It comes from a combination of the word ‘inter’ meaning ‘between’ and the Latin word ‘stella’ meaning ‘star’.(1)
“Those who contemplate the beauty of the Earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.” - Rachel Carson
